My Ideal Client

My ideal client is looking for a therapist who can provide them concrete skills to regulate emotions and feel more grounded.  Most of my clients come to me because they feel their emotions and thoughts are out of control and are lost in an endless loop of destructive or compulsive behaviors.

If you are a SuperFeeler and have big emotions then I might be the right therapist for you. If you've been discouraged by your lack of progress in talk therapy then DBT might be the right treatment for you. I've had decades of success helping my clients llive more fullfilling lives and end the cycle of problematic behaviors by teaching new skills in an environment that welcomes you without judgment just as you are.

If you are looking for a new approach to mental wellness reach out today. My services are
fully virtual and open to residents of Colorado and Kansas.

Loving someone with intense emotions is both colorful and complicated. A skilled DBT therapist will provide parents and family members the education, validation, and skills the need to support their loved one in the most effective ways.

DBT was adapted for teenagers who struggle with destructive or dangerous behaviors in response to emotional volatility. DBT creates a validating environment where teens 13+ and their families can find solace, support, and practical skills to foster independence, build strong relationships, and regain behavioral control.
